To people who have played both PT and RE7: If I am constantly tempted to /wrists over the cancellation of Silent Hills, will RE7 and VR make me whole again?

It's not a replacement for PT. It doesn't try the same kind of thing. But I think you shall enjoy it greatly, especially if you play it via PSVR.

Managed to finish it yesterday. I think this has become my favourite resi game of all time. Does anyone else think it was short?

Well, the first 3 REs where very short, it was all about replaying it with then, remember? I am still starting, but I think I will take a long time cause often I stop to look around, it is so cool looking.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Yep I only played beginning hour but it was too intense so replayed it the normal way. I was too scared to play it in VR

As much as I'm NOT an RE fan, I need to check out YouTube vids on this.

I think the first hour or so in the house is pretty hard to play through since it's so intense but you get used to it after a while.

But that's how I always feel about horror games, I play one and feel uncomfortable but after a while I get used to it. After finishing it I don't play such a game for some month and when I start the next horror game the same patterns begins. From "damn I shit my pants" to "it is scary" to "lol look that monster, let me get closer to see how the textures are"

But it's obviously much more intense in VR.

Great to hear. It's a big system seller for psvr. Only problem is psvr is sold out in most countries lol

I'm trying to find anyone I know that I can borrow one from so I can try it.

You'd have a better chance of borrowing my car.

I mean my car is pretty durable, ha s insurance, and I can get it fixed. You break my PSVR and I'm not sure when I can get another! After the initial window, I even quit letting family try mine out. Their freak out resection are to and and I'm like "Nooo! Take it off now and get out my house."

If you want to walk down the same hallway over and over again, feeling like you have to take a shit because you're so nervous, then yes. It fills that niche.
