Nintendo still is making and selling playing cards. They never stopped. (all in Japan of course)

I think the next question on every gamer's mind should be, "Where does Nintendo go (video game wise) from here?"

I do not see many people trying to answer this question and because of that, I think people are having a hard time understanding Nintendo's current plans.

i think they should make a board game.

board games have made a pretty big comeback recently and have been on the verge of being mainstream popular instead of just niche popular. i nintendo devised boardgame could do great for them and certainly reaches a different audience than the video gamer.

They have Mario chess, Mario and Zelda theme Monopoly, and that's it so far. Why not a Luigi's Mansion board game? :D

i wouldn't count that personally.  you can get chess/monopoly in any one of thousands of skins.  the game is still chess/monopoly.

i'm talking more like how settlers of catan was invented fairly recently and then went mainstream quite recently.  but now everyone knows this game and it is nothing like anything that predated it.

nintendo should creat a new boardgame based on "innovative new (board) gameplay".  that's what nintendo claims to be great at so i'd like to see what they can do in the boardgame space.  it doesn't even have to use their current IP,.. i just like boardgames and like to see how they could work in this space.

They should make solar panels because why not

Star Fox comic please!! By which I mean an ongoing title, not limited series like the 1992/93 comic.

That'd be a great pick, it'd also serve as a sorce for new story/gameplay funcionalities for the next title (which likely won't start development any time soon ) and it could build a group of fans that are interested in the games...
