To further clarify, if player A receives 10 votes within the first 24 hours, but player B has 12 votes at the 24-hour mark, player B will be lynched.(Assuming they are the leader at that point or were first to reach 12 in the case of a tie) Days will only end earlier than 24 hours if votes are cast in such a way that the vote leader can't be overcome.

Well, the no unvote rule is either going to make this a very quick round or make it last forever. What if the time to vote finishes and there is no clear choice, like a draw?

Game started 20 hours ago and the discussion is boring. I understand the rules completely. If this game is a basic mafia game then day one lynches are stupid unless someone says something stupid. I don't care for  for day one lynches but realize that if this is indeed as basic as we think it is do not expect your basic cop to come forward and do not push for him to come forward. They will do so on their own if they cannot convince us to lynch any investigated scum. The scum are gonna be on the look out for anyone coming off as a cop to night kill them,  the doctor will pay close attention as well and attempt to protect them. If the doctor understands this, he can successfully give us an advantage by preventing night kills.  We need to at least attempt to be wary and careful for scum trying to come off as town/cop. The doctor should never roleclaim because they are the first line of defence if and when our cop claims. Unless they are on the brink of a lynch. Hopefully it never comes to that.

For any vanilla players, DO NOT claim you are plain vanilla. That helps no one but scum because:

1-scum can better predict the town power roles through process of elimination. Unlike town, scum know town claims are true because they are the scum

2- it pins town against other town with accusations of distrust. We don't have the luxury of being sure of town claims like scum.

Finally, again this is a basic game, do not expect power roles to come through all the time. we may have to make tough lynch decisions without investigations to help us.
