Well seeing as Wii Fit has already sold 1.7 million in 4 months in Japan, I don't see why it won't sell at least 3 million in 7 months in the US. There are a lot of us fat Americans that need it. Pachter had to make an accurate prediction eventually.

Maybe they are paying Oprah like 20 mil just to get it on her show... LOL. ; )

I think its possible Wii Fit could have sales like 4 million in America alone, Nintendo did say their going to seriously advertise the game.

 That is not entirely unlikely, Nintendo knows they need more and more aggressive commercials and marketing strategies. This is the one point in which they have a lot to learn outside of Japan yet.

I think eventually it will definitely sell around that number, but personally if these gas prices hike any higher I'm going to have to hold out on games like that, as much as I want to get it. Most people who work full-time probably share a similar sentiment; not meant to be offensive to those who do not work.

It might sell more than a million or two when released but at $90 a pop it might take a little longer to reach a multi-million goal. Mabye similar to Brawl.

I think Pachter is guessing low for this, probably closer to 6-7m. Pachter accuracy for anything Nintendo is abysmal. He doesn't understand the casual market at all.
