Forums - Sony - I got a PlayStation Vita!

Congrats. It's great for play classic titles.

Here's my recommendations:
Crash bandicoot 1, 2, 3,
Crash team racing,
Spyro 1,2,3,
Hogs of war,
Metal gear solid.

And for current vita titles I'd recommend:
Killzone mercenary,
Uncharted 4.

Most of the games that you listed I already own for the PS1.

It's a nice piece of hardware. I have both the OLED VITA and PSTV. I'm more on the PSTV than the VITA because of playing on a 55" screen, but it's been one of my favorite "consoles." I love the rpgs for it and then some.

Good purchase! :)

Turn-based rpg with an active time bar system while moving anywhere on the field.

OK. I always get confused because there's apparently another game called Trails in the Sky, what is that?

There are two Trails in the Sky games also available on Vita that are excellent. All 4 games are definitely worth your time.

Gravity Rush, Killzone Mercenary, Tearaway, DanganRonpa, Wipeout, and Uncharted are all definitely worth playing. Bunch of other games I could recommend, but I don't want to just dump a list on you.

Here are some games that I'm looking for:

Soul Sacrifice

Just thought I'd throw this out there. Get the original, and not Delta. The difficulty balance in Delta is....not great. If you LOVE the original, Delta might be worth a look later. It has extra levels. More bosses. An altered, expanded storyline. A third faction to ally yourself with. Environmental destruction is improved. That's all fine, but it's so easy, I played the entire Delta campaign and died only once. The same is true in online co-op. Much easier. Also you can import your Soul Sacrifice save to Delta, but not vice versa.

Play the ones you don't own!

It looks like Delta is digital-only, so I wasn't going to get it anyways.

I recently picked up a PSTV deluxe package myself.  I'm playing a 39" screen and the jaggies can be a bit distracting on that even.  Too bad they don't have an AA pass to smooth things up a bit.

It's amazing the thing only hogs about 1W or so while running games.  I made the mistake of running this thing with my psp1000 charger for a while and wondered why the thing was boot looping when I plugged in the controller cable...while updating firmware!

If Sony wasn't so lame (ps vita only memory cards, ignoring the phat video out port??) they could have easily pre-empted the nintendo switch years ago.

Seems my interest in games mostly matches OPs, although I also had to have Hot Shot Golf since I played the hell out of that on my PSP.
