The dub/voiceacting isn't that good in the germanic language family, as the languages when spoken aren't dynanic, but rather monotonic. In a way, I can see where you're coming from.

Well that could be the case but Germany also doesn't have a long history of voice acting like some other countries.  In the US voice acting goes back to the early days of radio and pre dates sound in the movies.  Most early TV shows in the US where either based on radio shows or started out as radio shows.  Plus radio shows also influenced a lot of early sound cinema in the US.

Well, English IS a germanic language. I think you see sometimes cartoons being dubbed/voiceacted by known actors, not because they'd be better in voice acting, but for people to connect the cartoon character to the actor who plays him/her/it.

First time we get voice acting in a Zelda game and look where it is now

Yeah, it would be better not to have one at all.

From what I've been told on this site is that languages take up a good amount of file size. Could that be it?

Had Nintendo confirmed the size of their NS cartridges?

Rumour has it that 16GB is the standard size.

The voice acting is there, but you can change it only if you change your system language.

I'm just amazed, we have wanted it so badly for so many years (even decades at this point) and when we finally get it, we complain even though it's more than fine

Not sure how many people really wanted it. Personally I was happy how it was. Let's hope the cinematics are skippable.

Actually English is more of a hybrid language since it has more words borrowed from other languages then German.

There's a reason it was almost only people who don't even play Zelda who kept whining that it should have voice acting...
