PS4 version = $30
Switch version = $40

Why is switch version $10 more? Same launch dates and content (afaik).

Because its a cartridge not a disc

Why would a cartridge be more expensive?

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I really dont see the big deal here, most Japanese games and many Indie games are launching at 60$ like Gal*Gun was. And some games like Overwatch were cartoony as well and it was consired a AAA game tought its not. What is deiffernece between Overwatch and Bomberman, both are MP focused game although you can play Bomberman offline and both have the same type of graphics. But Overwatched launched at 70€ instead 50€.

Bomberman will also be cheaper for 50€ in Europe

Actually, it's not a cartridge, but a card.

Discs are made by pressing large quantities, so they cost virtually nothing to make, while the cards should be more expensive.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

it will be 50$ in the US

If you want to pay $60 for a game with very aged gameplay and with less content then some indie games, go ahead. But I bet 99% of Switch owners won't and Konami is gonna blame Nintendo for it.

People defending the price, the normality of it all.

What on earth has the Switch done to you people? $50 for Bomberman? That's insane... It's an arcade game with 2.5D graphics.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

When you launch with 5 games, it makes even bomberman look like a big title.

Because there's close to no software competition on Switch day 1. First adopters by their own nature are not price sensitive.

Konami has to be laughing themselves to the bank for being able to get so much for so little while other 3rd parties got to be kicking themselves got to be scrambling to come up with *anything* for Switch's launch period. Think of all the money Ubisoft spent making ZombiU and Red Steel vs. what Konami probably spent making Bomberman.

It'll go down in price over time though. Konami will naturally want it to stick on to the top of the downloaded charts for a long while.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
