I can't recall a time where Nintendo gave a game say a spring launch window but then it released June, so I'd say they go by months unless I'm forgetting.

Well the first 3 weeks of June are still technically Spring

When going strictly by months, June is a Summer month.

Mk8 and Splatoon both were to launch during spring and released on May 31th.

Spring is March/April/May so those examples only fit with what I'm saying.

What are you basing this on? If the first 3 weeks of June are in Spring than why would June be a Summer month?

That's just how most everyone sees it, including and most importantly to this discussion, Nintendo. Four seasons, 12 months, means there 3 months per season. December/January/February = Winter, March/April/May = Spring, June/July/August = Summer, September/October/November = Fall. I would almost go as far as to say literally everyone see's it that way, as I've never heard of anyone saying otherwise, like Summer is July/August/September or something.

I love reading the negative comments. "Two titles are an arguably better launch". Yes sir, whatever you want.

I've never played The Binding Of Isaac, nor am I interested.

The seasons are viewed a little differently in different parts of the world. I believe the zorg1000's definition is used exclusively in the US, where summer starts at midsummer. Most of the western world have march-may as spring, june-august as summer, september-november as autumn and december-february as winter months.

Thermic seasons would change when the day's average temperature is above or below a certain level.

So what is the problem. The lack of games or the lack of big games?

Both. Switch lineup lacks both, imo. And something exclusive that ll really sell the system.

I don't really see the big deal about the launch lineup since just about everyone who is buying it day one is buying it to play BotW and I don't think those people are going to really give a damn if the launch lineup is pretty sparse.  You could make the argument that BotW is on the Wii U as well to make the Switch's launch lineup look weaker but do you really think people who are buying the Switch day one really care about that?

The two best launch lineups on any Nintendo system have been on Gamecube and Wii U. Maybe the worst ever launch lineup was on Playstation.

I live in the U.S., when going exclusively by months it's the same thing here too. I'm stressing exclusively by months, because that's no doubt what Nintendo's going by as, let's be honest, most people probably don't remember the exact day seasons begin/end. I certainly couldn't tell you off the top of my head the exact days Winter begins and ends.

I have not, please excuse my ignorance. :o

Wii U launch was awesome. I had a Wii as my only 7th gen console. When I picked up the Wii U, most of those games were new to me. I still have my Wii U and I'm getting Zelda on the Switch. My father has a Wii U, he's getting Zelda on the Switch. Three of my friends are getting Switch, just for Zelda.
