Wow, each time I hear that they are going to do a port, I think it's gonna be something big, but each time, Nintendo could've easily done the TP port, and Sega could have easily done the Mania port.

they could have more games in development, you don't need a whole development team to port this kind of sonic.

They could, but each time they announce they're porting a game, it's something that's not really intensive.

That is surprising. Can't imagine it took a lot of time to do this though, so hopefully they are doing something bigger too.

I still think they are working on Xenoblade X too. Sonicmania can't be that demanding of time and resources.

Would love a Xenoblade X port. Heck even better a Xenoblade Chronicles and X bundle ports. Just upscale Xenoblade to 1080p and for X increase draw distance and call it good.

Well, I mean yeah... but the whole point of paying them to do this is so that they can focus on something else.
