I hear you, but im going to choose to believe they are NOT that stupid

I mean, we'll have to wait to see how stupid it is if it is true but it's certainly crazy if nothing else.  But crazy has worked in the past...

it works less often than not, and no one should rely on it too much especially a company coming off of Wii U

Gonna have to go for the ol` 1/10 here.

Said going in to it that there was only two things I wanted to see, an achievement system and a Pokemon game. They had neither so...

Not interested in Zelda.
Not interested in gimmicky games.
Not interested in Xenoblade.
May be interested in SMT, but that was more an announcement that it exists rather than anything else.
Interested in real 3D Mario, too bad it won`t have achievements.
Would be interested in Fire Emblem Warriors, again too bad it won`t have achievements though.

I guess I can use it for FIFA though... oh wait, I`ve already got that on PS4. Welp... no use for the Switch then until a Pokemon game releases, it`s the 3DS all over again in my eyes

You pretty much just said that you don't like Nintendo games lol, that's like somebody watching a SONY conference and automatically gives it a zero because the individual has no interest in SONY games, rate the fucking presentation lol.

I thought it was terrible. The Switch is headed for disaster I think.

Big Cons: $300, paid online, short battery life, joy con controllers, motion controls, pro controller sold separately, huge lack of games

A 4, there were some good parts but the lows were extremely low. The first half of the show was disappointing, too much talking and the price is too high from what I was expecting and I'm not interested in the Joy-Cons. Battery life was questionable too, when will the battery life be 2.5 hours and when will it be 6 hours? I was also unsure on what exactly is supposed to be coming out at launch, I learnt more about that after the show rather than during the show. In general the presentation was just shoddy, they needed better production and more consistent translators.

The reason why it's not a total disaster is because at the very least the games they showed off looked pretty great, Mario Odyseey was certainly the highlight of the show. Overall it wasn't a good show but hopefully we can just forget about it once the Switch comes out.

For clarification, Zelda will push the battery life to 3 hours.  So that kind of game will shorten the battery life a lot.

I would give Nintendo a 9.

Presentation needed to be better, but I loved what I saw.

Will Xenoblabe come in 2017?

That's the word right now.  But that may be just Japan with the West getting it later.  Or it may be delayed.

I forgot to mention in my pros that the console comes with a charger. I thought they would just say, "the dock is your charger" and charge us for a second, "portable" charger. That was a pleasant surprise that made me happy and made my girlfriend snap her Puerto Rican fingers at me because she called it.

People giveing it a 7,8,9,10.... why? this wasnt a great presentation.

Even if the Switch would cost $500 the accessories would be more expensive and the Nintendo fans would have only have been shown Zelda with no release date. There is a faur chance people would still give the presentation 10/10 ratings.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

It was slow, third party publishers didn't show their games(until end of show) and terrible translator.

I rate this one 6.5/10 for Super Mario Odyssey, Zelda, Fire Emblem Warriors etc. Could've been better reveal more third party games gameplay instead of montage.
