Yes.  Pointing out after being beaten for 7 out of 12 months that if you take a carefully curated view of only 6 of those 12 months that you won (ish) is in fact damage control.

Edit: Changed to 7 because didn't they win April or something?

I predicted a ps4 win for November. I did expect a xb1 win for December, but I also expect a price cut for a longer period of time.



Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

So winning 1/2 the year is damage control? Why do people always assume it's damage control, when they stated it was up YOY and win the last 6 months of the year. It just means the holiday season was on a knife edge, and the PS4 barely won.

Revenue is down across the board.

Sony might have seen this before hand and tried reverse it with VR and the Pro... I don´t think it have payed off yet.

Yeah, funny how the predictions for an Xb one win were all about the great Xb one deals, and now that PS4 has won, possibly narrowly, it's a suprise that PS4's win was so small because of all the PS4 deals.

Disappointing with slim and Pro being out there that PS4 is down YoY. MS saying Xb one won 2H16 suggests PS4 won 2016 over all. I don't know NPD numbers for Jul-Nov but VGC has PS4 down by 158.5+K for those 5 months. This means with PS4 < 1.582m and XBO > 1.376m being >200K the Dec gap could be as much as 158.5K but could also be as little as a 1. But the gap is certainly not more than 158.5K
