Yeah, that's MS for ya.

You beat us the first six months. And the last two months. But you know those middle 4 months? Yeah that's right.

Hahahhahaha :)

Sure.

And MS is simply much more competetive this year, as such they are eating a bigger piece of the console pie this year. That too could also be a primary factor here. Of course tha point you don't want to acknowledge.

Wow.... pls read my responses to you. I have been very clear. No one is disputing that MS is more competetive this year. Thats good or them. Yes they are eating a bigger peice of said pie......

what we are saying though, is that this year..... the PS4 still outsold the XB1 overall. The gap still increased.

You being right doesn't mean I we are wrong.... thats hwta you don't seem to get.

Based on the cherry picked responding he has done with posts by others, as well as my own posts, I would say at this point we are all wasting our time there.

This was not Neodegenerate's point, at all... He was providing other reasons for the PS4's YOY decline that should also be acknowledged.

EDIT: Beaten

MS doesn't have a new Halo this year, yet they are doing fine. Which games does MS have this year that should be keeping them so much more competetive. With respect, Gears alone isn't that big of a game changer, it's a smaller IP than Halo.

They both have Slim models.

Sony also has a Pro model on top of that.

One is trending up, the other trended down. Sorry but that is a fact for December.

I acknowledge PS4's decline, I'm just saying it could also be freaking Microsoft that is also one reason why. MS is a lot tougher than they were one year ago.

And those trends occurred because of a variety of reasons that I and other people have pointed out multiple times. However, you refused to acknowledge those other reasons. It's not your allegation that Microsoft is more competitive that's bothering other people. In fact, I did say that Microsoft had a very clever release schedule for its new SKUs. What is bother other people is that you refuse to acknoledge things like the PS4 not having Star Wars bundles, the Pro not getting an official holiday price cut, and so forth as other reasons for the PS4's YOY decline.

And here's some food for thought. How many of those XB1 S sales were rebuys from existing XB1 owners? After all, the XB1 S and OG XB1 have significant differences such as HDR and 4K playback. In contrast, the OG PS4 and PS4 slim are nearly identical. In fact, the PS4 slim is a bit of a downgrade because of the missing optical port. If you want to use this argument on the Pro, you should apply the same standard for the XB1 S.

But most of those games arent Sony games...

Why would that matter? They are games exclusively on Sony consoles. The ability to foster and support "third party exclusives" is an important factor.

Sony arent even publishing most of those games zo i dont know about the support youre speaking of.

You don't understand how releasing video games on a console works do you?

I have to agree with you here....... arguing with a wall is better, at least it won't misconstrue everything you say.

Xbox One has to win US by at least 3 million next year to be successful imo. With Scorpio coming and all

I think winning the US by even 1 console, for the full year, would be a success for them.  To actually close the gap at all would be a success.

so you think they just hate MS and don't want to release their games on their console? O r wait.... MS pays them to not release the games on their console?
