No, it was definitely the correct username and password combination.  I tried it several times to make sure I didn't mess it p, and have since confirmed that I was using the correct info.

Anyway, everything is fine now. 

I feel sorry for users that are on hiatus only to come back and not be able to log in. By that stage this thread will be long gone and if they can't access their old email like myself they will probably end up just lurking or having to create a new account.

That's why I was saying this was a big mess, I was thinking on that same situation specially with the Switch event so damn close, however a mysterious dragon suddlenly appeared and saved the day recovering all the lost data, which sounds like a cheap outcome from a Harry Potter fanfiction but nop, VGC is that strange sometimes. Everything is back to normal now.

So with it being back to normal does that mean that people that haven't changed their old password can now log in without resetting?

Truck, apologies for abusing the system (password thing) to get in but I never did receive my password reset email(s). Nothing in spam or main mailbox, tried resetting twice. Kind of a moot point that you've fixed and changed loads of stuff but still....
