Around the Network

After playing around with some weapon sets, I'm enjoying the game more. The giant boss on chapter one that plays keep away with you the entire game, is easily taken out with the bow. Without the bow, I had to dodge his attacks to enter witch time, just so I could hit him three or four times before he retreated. With the bow I can just keep firing at him until he dies. So much better. There are several other bosses in the game that play the same way.

Also, hard mode is more my speed. A lot of stuff on normal difficulty was just too slow, including a lot of the more annoying keep away bosses.

Edit: Not all weapons are the same. The first three weapons for the hands all had the same combos.  The scythe, bow, and vines all play a lot differently than each other. The normal hands, swords, and flamethrowers all played the same when put into the hands. Those are the weapons that I beat the game with. The flamethrower was just slower. Swords on the feet is nuts for combos.

i am the other side of the coin. I often compain that games today don't have enough cutscenes. I come from an age where it was an absolute treat to see some picture stills, music, and written dialogue after beating a level. It was a reward for all your hard work beating a level. Especailly after a hard fought boss battle. With advances is technology i want a full motion video after every boss battle. Not just an in game cut scene. Full motion cinematic. Gameplay is important, but so is good story telling.
Not to get off on a tangent, but a great example of gameplay impeding story is the last encounter in watch dogs. It should have been an intense dialogue followed by a conclusion all in a cut scene. Instead they added in quick time events to try to liven it up a bit. I made it feel shallow and unnatural. A real shame given the build up at the end.
Haven't finished bayo 2, but enjoying it so far.

and the signature music is not soo good as 'fly me to the moon'
maybe thats why i liked bayo 1 more than 2.

I think your criticisms are valid, but... I'd say that everything you stated in this thread is worse on the first one XD.
