You're right, Dead rising 4 outselling does however and that game didn't take that long to make . Not to mention ico got shutdown because of it.

Probably lost Sony money. However alot of people really liked the game (its got a good metacritic score, fans seem to love it).

Which could instead be put towards development of good compelling game.  Only problem is not hitting EJECT earlier.

This 100% Drive Club had a weak launch, Driveclub and Driveclub Bikes are now absolutely fantastic and very complete games to buy into. Some of the best visuals you will likely see on a console for at least the next year.

 

As for the OP, that's a shame, not a surprise but a shame all the same.
