A few weeks ago there was a major incident in Germany with Hooligans. They have alwaays been a problem in football and they're as bad as ever.

Yeah, it may be a bit cringeworthy, but I definitely prefer lightheartedness like that over constant fighting. Obviously this is a mod thread, so that is a bit inevitable, but you know what, I like just having fun with the people on the site here every once in a while.

This is the saddest story I've ever heard. Nobody should have to go through that especially at such a young age. Perhaps we could crowdfund Mario 64 and a Wii/DS for you?

There are more than enough threads for lightheartedness. It also has its place in this thread as well, but when Kerotan in particular is doing the very thing that earned him a hefty moderation some months ago, then the mods who post here should remind him of where he is going instead of making pointless contributions. I hold the mod team to a higher standard than what they've displayed here, and according to the head mods, they hold themselves to a higher standard than regular forum members as well. I am not asking for too much.

What do you mean by that? In terms of what they've posted, or in terms of who they banned?

I actually just completed the time trials for crash bandicoot 2 just there.  Very hard but so satisfying. The old classics are still entertaining me!

That's not the victim card. It's merely a reminder for proper conduct in this thread.

If you want to know why I have talked more about you than anybody else in this thread, it's because your behavior has been a problem that hasn't been dealt with in a proper way for the longest time. I don't need to bring the same attention to Nintendo fans or anybody else when the mod team has been repeatedly banning the problematic cases already.

You shouldn't be the one trying to tell others how to behave in a mod thread. Get off the high horse. People were being somewhat playful and civil with eachother before you started to complain needlessly again.

Regarding acevil he was actually very annoying on japanese sales threads for a long time.  Constantly negative about the ps4 and downplaying it's sales performance in Japan.  so he had a negativity mindset.  I'm not sure what triggered it or when exactly but it reminded me of the negativity on sales threads on gaf which I hate.  

So wiry his negative mindset he was never going to have around much longer anyway.  Everyone reaches the end of the road at some point and he'd reached his. 

You have yourself to thank for the reputation you have. There's no smoke without fire, and you create more smoke than anyone else on the forum. Rol and the others notice this behaviour, so you can't be upset when there's so many people highlighting the problem. If you truly wish to remain a member of this community, then you take note and improve your behavior or posting style.

Acevil's "negativity" came about because he was comparing one generation of sales to another. He regularly used to post the Media Create and Famitsu threads before Kresnik started to take over and do a stellar job. He wasn't being negative about PS4 and downplaying, he was being critical of the market as a whole and the hole left by the Wii/ DS combination. Hell, even directly comparing the performance of PS4 to the PS3. That's not negativity and downplaying, it's a legitimate concern and critique of the market.

Acevil is still on the forum and regularly posting, so to say he's reached the end of his road is misleading and insulting.
