But I shouldn't even have to include that,  because I'm entitled to my opinion.  However I made the effort to be positive regardless. 

We work with the 6 Month "rule" that your progression will be lowered. Your last ban for trolling was in March, while your last overall ban was mid-April. CGI isn't wrong to hit you with the 7 days. We do offer people leeway from time to time when the 6 Months is close, however, you've been on the radar recently for your manipulative posts like the ones which got you banned here so progression was carried out.

I skipped progression to 14 days for your previous one because you were being extra annoying.

This just means you want us to focus entirely on your post history.

Rol knows he can't get away with it when he pushes things over the line, which is why his mod history is far more extensive than your own.

He's been banned 3 times in 2017 and his progression has followed suit each time. 1 Day, 3 Days, 5 Days. Rols progression has been reset a couple times since 2015 after 6 Months of no bans and 10 Months of no bans. While Rol is a known troll, his brand of trolling isn't really malicious and it's not really worthy of moderation. He targets specific people to poke holes in their arguments while showing how ridiculous they're being. Where Rol goes wrong is his need to call people idiots, which we deal with.

Other kinds of trolling come from people who report the people they're targetting or show fake enthusiasm for something to get a rise out of people.

Anything before the word "but" is usually rubbish to hide the real point someone is making. People know you, people know your history and people can see what the intent is behind those posts.

No they think they know me. I'm entitled to say a console should be beating it's predecessors. That's not trolling. If that annoys people then they have the problem not me. And my post made it crystal clear I think sales are good.

My enthusiasm is also not fake. I am genuinely happy to see Playstation succeed. I cheer them like you might cheer a football team. It's pretty straightforward.

While we are on this topic though. Why is my enthusiasm the main problem when we have people like jranation who is constantly being negative about platforms he doesn't like. Mocking the vita sales to get a rise out of Dr vita is a regular thing he does.

If that was me id be banned. Not sure why he gets let off. His posting habits are basically a reaction to me. He's not genuine like I am. Since I've been banned the amount he posts on the usual thread dramatically decreased. Just shows you his intentions.

Whether the threads are packed or empty I'll be there cheering on Playstation if it's doing well. Because it's genuine and not fake. I really do get a thrill out of a platform that entertains me succeeding.

I wasn't questioning your enthusiasm for PlayStation. Nobody here should or has, so I'm not sure why you're being so defensive about that?

Jranation has multiple moderations for trolling Sony, however if you wish to highlight specific behavior you think we've missed, I'm more than happy to take a look at it.

Have you ever thought that maybe using the fact that other people behave badly but dont get moderated is kind of a childish defense? When you say that you are basicay admitting to bad behavior and are looking to defend it because "little jimmy didnt get time out too!"

Good because my positive posting is genuine despite the attempts of some to portray it as overly enthusiastic in order to troll.  

And my posts have a positive impact overall on here.  If I don't enter comg or mediacreate threads everyday the total engagement by users in them drops dramatically.  

People will like and dislike what I say depending on whether Playstation succeeding or its success being celebrated is to their liking but at the end of the day it gets these topics going.  Sometimes I thibk people would rather they be inactive.  

The likes of acevil who said he left because of me,  well I don't see him posting when I'm not around so as far as I can see he would have left anyway.  

Also padib made a good point.  Mods dont engage with posters like they used to under smeags glorious rain.  I and many others would be permabanned if it wasn't for the efforts of smeags,  conegamer,  Mr khan etc.  Now I've not been banned much this last 6 months but instead of letting little things about my posting style irk you for ages before finally finding an excuse to ban me,  how about you just engage a little over that period and I'd guarantee you'd see improvements.  

I know Carl for instance doesn't like me so would rather take a sit and wait until "he slips up" approach (not my words).  But that reminds me of Mr khan.  He used to dislike me like Carl does now but still made the effort to improve my posting style.  And it helped. 

He's not defending bad behavior by pointing at other bad behavior. He's saying what he's doing is not bad bahavior but somehow that's the focus instead of people with actual bad behavior.
