I think a year ago or more I got banned for calling Hajime Tabata a bad word because of my displeasure in the direction he took FFXV into. I'm just sayin.

Its quite simple actually what irl is accepted isnt allways accepted here.
Irl i would use circlejerk to describe a group of people egging eachother on and strenghtenen their beliefs. While it isnt meant in a way of disrepect at all. Its just shorter and much more to the point

Would you get a ban or warning around here for making a joke based on an ethnic sounding word? Example Holy Fuck changed to Ho Lee Fuk.
I don't know. I have about 4 warnings that I am not proud of. I wish they would be gone but they also server as a reminder to be a better user and not make the same mistakes.

Borderline.
If it's used to mock people who don't use English as a primary language, then it's probably over the edge and moderation would follow. If it's used in relation to a pop culture reference, or regarding the name of something, then I couldn't see it being handled by a moderator outside of a PM to tell you to calm it down.

Yeah so say a game has sales announced of 20 Million For example. A phenomenal result so you are shocked and pleasantly surprised.
Your post on the topic starts with "Ho Lee Fook" for example followed by further comment on the games performance.
So Sony announce 10m uncharted 4 sales and Kerotan responds:
"Ho Lee Fuk! What amazing sales for this amazing game".
User X who doesn't like Kerotan hits the report button and claims I'm a racist (I prefer the term Irish). Will the mod team hit me with a ban?
