"you can call it trolling"

"but it's not breaking the rules"

Good one.

I wont even waste my time with rol, if you don't think switch will do over 100 million, you are a troll to him, and wants to see the person banned, he thinks everything he says is fact, take things way to personal.

Ah Rol isn't the worst of them. He's basically the dark Knight of vgchartz. Only difference is batman is consistent in what he protects but Rol isn't. Don't take what he says to heart.

I don't take to heart, he does. Its like he has to convince you to see his way, or else it get's under his skin.

Bumping  a prediction thread with a fact based comment is very different than saying people are "so fucking out of touch over and over again".

First thing first: The premise isn't community vs. mod team, it's right vs. wrong.

When you permaban someone, the ban note should include irrefutable evidence and strong reasoning that a moderation of this level is justified. Your team says that there was a number of applicable posts, but instead of putting at least a couple of additional links into the ban note, you went with a single post. The problem of that post is that it's a statement of observation that not even an F-bomb can turn into a moderation-worthy offense because this community's track record for predicting Nintendo correctly is not good, and the thread in which the statement was made is a poster child example for being way off target.

When you look at this situation objectively and from the context of right vs. wrong, then the conclusion can't really be anything other than your team has to do better than that ban note. Nobody has contested your decision to permaban GNM, all that has been said is that the ban note is below acceptable standards.

I'd say he got an appropriate ban note considering all the ill will he spread. I'm sure more than just me would like to give him a final word, too, but at least he got that ban note.

Batman saves the Joker's life which stands in direct contradiction to protecting Gotham City. I am still baffled that anyone likes Batman.

Not everyone has the same sense of what the "right thing to do" is. 😔

The joker is part of Gotham so no its not a contradiction.

Batman saving the joker's life is like Germans praising nazis because they are part of German history.

you can say the same thing for tons of super heroes, even though the enemy is a threat to the world, they still try to give them a chance. it's silly, but what can you do. you have similar things in real life,  like murderers who raped and killed many children get to just sit in jail, when they should be tortured and killed within a month.

No it's actually like capturing Hitler alive to prosecute him. Nice try though.

Batman is the only one who risks his own life to save the life of a massmurderer who attempts to commit suicide. That's not the action of a mentally healthy person.

batman risks his life for fun, are you talking about dark knight? but other super heroes actually save bad guys that want take over the world, so yea mass murder is in almost all mass villains.

What causes comments to "disappear" in the articles?

I am positive that "http://www.vgchartz.com/article/272192/ps4-best-selling-console-in-the-us-in-2017-call-of-duty-wwii-best-selling-game/"

Had 20 comments. Now it has 15. Did 5 of them get deleted? Was the counter wrong?

I deleted mine because it was clearly an unpopular opinion.

So having unsubstantiated opinions is worse than insulting others? Hmm... very logical and thought provoking. 😽
