Either way, what's done is done. I agree with mZuzek.

He constantly created toxic arguments with his jerky attitude. Would he have liked VGC? No. But it would have remained a more toxic environment if he kept him.

Confirm what? That he was banned? If so; Yeah for three days. I wasn't a part of the discussion at the time so I don't know all the details, but the ban note leads me to believe he was trolling in one way or another. 

Confirm the reasons for the ban, if it was really someone who didn't break any rules, but was moderated because he "should be moderated".

Mods did the permaban 2 years too late. He made way worse posts in the past that could land a permaban, i didnt saw him hate sony like he used too but attacking people on nintendo topics was a thing he never stopped.

From the vivster post with the banned users right now , i just see another user banned that is a diet version of GoodNightmoon, but its not a nintendo fanboy this one and does the trolling and hating stealth mode. 4 years of doing the same shit. Its time to swing harder.

I didn't mind him so much but he was one of those that used to reply to everything I said and start a roundabout argument. I would say this ban has made this place more enjoyable for me but we don't talk anymore so in reality it hasn't. 

 

I do note however, he was hurt by all the celebrating of Nintendos downfall this gen with the Wii u crashing and the 3ds paling in comparison to the ds. The fact playstation fans were emphatically celebrating the rise of the ps4 didn't help. 

 

I could relate to him as I felt like this when the ps3 was struggling bad. Come the rise of the switch, turning into a big success right out the gate I always felt like he treated this as his time for revenge. Nintendo was now succeeding again and it was payback time. Obviously it was justified but I feel he went too far and couldn't reel it in..

 

I see some similarities to the ethomaz case study. He had put up with xbox and Nintendo fans all gen while the ps3 underperformed. Come the ps4 he couldn't help but have his revenge on the other communities and eventually went too far and was banned. 

 

Now I think ethomaz was happy to leave while GDM wasn't but I definitely draw some comparisons in the two cases.

I have a question for the mods, do you kno the next time i will get banned on vgc? I rather plan ahead and take time to think of what i should do on my leave of absence.
