So you're one of the average VGC members.

I was talking about Rol though, don't start with your games, I already know them.

You know my games?

I don't play any games. Your comment simply came across as a love letter to Rol. Rol doesn't need defending. He has been moderated time and time again and has refused to adjust his behavior and the way he treats other people, thinking there's something in him that puts him above everyone else. He isn't any more special than anyone else here. When people get moderated for their behavior, and they choose to not adjust to what is required by the community, they walk their way to the exit door.

There is absolutely no reason why Rol should be treated any differently. You love him. That's ok. But simply because he has infatuated fans doesn't and shouldn't put him above the rules, nor give him the right to treat other people as he sees fit.

You propose a "Rol clause" in the rules while a lot of people have been complaining for quite some time that he already gets special treatment from the mods, that a lot of his trolling and flaming go unmoderated because of the way he skirts the line with his wording. This needs to stop.

It's more than due time that mods break that cycle and show him that he isn't above everyone and has to treat others in accordance to the rules and terms of conduct.

He can contribute the same points, and share the same passion, without having to resort to petty insults and attacking whoever doesn't see things the way he does.

Yeah I know them, trying to make things personal as always. Now I'm in love with Rol despite having zero relation with him just because I find their bans pretty much useless, whatever you say, you always try to get a rise out of me, I know your games.

You could't address anything, so you stuck to that part.

This is what he's talking about when he says he knows your games, Hynad.

That's not a game, Carl. Rol has a fan base. You know that as well as I do.

You could say the same for many people on the forum.

That doesn't mean you should come into a thread and mock or belittle them when they're trying to put a point across. You're doing the exact same thing here that you're complaining about Rol apparently "getting away with". You're attacking GNM's character and making it personal.

I'm making it personal by pointing out his love for the character?

"It seems obvious that you love this person."

That's mocking... Lol. Ok.

Even though you have no interest in Nintendo, you go out of your way to post in Nintendo circles with nothing but uninformed and illogical arguments. You hardly have a leg to stand on when it comes to judging who brings what to the table.

Uninformed? Is that supposed to be an oxymoron on purpose or by accident?

"That's some good news. Netflix will be a must-have on a portable console. It's the most used app on xbox and playstation consoles so I can't imagine what it will be like on the NS."

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8562615

"Hmmm. There might be hope yet. That's a good thing in my opinion."

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8561211

Yep, as you can see I go out of my way to post in nintendo threads with nothing but uninformed and illogical arguments....

I don't even post in the ninty threads that often compared to where else I post. If I was out to shit all over anything nintendo, I would have been dealt with by the mods a long time ago. I'm just not a fan of the brand and I don't pull my punches so to speak with my criitcisms or thoughts on it when I do post on it. If that bothers some people, oh well they can learn to deal with it.

Not once did I ever say that I bring anything to the table. I'm not an egomaniac nor do I feel the need to seek approval from others.  I didn't even bring it up the whole table thing. Also I don't need some qualification that's defined by some moving metric to say what anyone brings to any table. I have a brain, that's good enough. I'm a neutral in the sense of what I bring to the community. I care about it but I don't really belong to any group because i'm fairly vocal about my opinions on everything so I tend get into a debate or two with most people on something sooner or later. I'm just some joe smo with an opinion who likes to debate.

Last night, I had this really heavy hittin' long post written out earlier in reply and the network timed out so it was lost.....

Yes, you post uninformed and illogical arguments.

You are one of those tinfoil hat guys who claim that Nintendo must be creating the Switch shortages on purpose, because for some reason you believe that they are good at predicting accurately how interested will people be in a product. You know, the same Nintendo that a few years ago had a negative shipment of one of their consoles and makes shit nobody wants like the Wii U from time to time.

Lol. Ok.

If you're going to reduce his entire argument down to "You love him. That's ok." then yeah, you're making it personal.

Did you read what I wrote? Or you did the same as him and stuck to that single part? Because I addressed most of what he brought up here.

Thanks.
