GBA, hell yeah! One of the best systems of all time! Megaman Zero series, Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald and FR/LF, Sonic Advance series, Fire Emblem and FE Sacred Stones, Metroid Fusion, Kirby The Amazing Mirror and Nightmare in Dreamland, the first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon... That's without counting the SNES ports like A Link to the Past, Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island! I think it's to this day, the system I've spent more time with. Just with my Pokemon Leafgreen copy reaching the 999hours of game is prove of that!
Pokemon gen 3 obviously. Sonic games were good, Metroid fusions ( i need to play the remake), i didnt play the advance (mario) games.
Ohhh bomberman was great too. Zelda minish cap and lets not forget the mario and luigi rpg broooooo
I had the transparent purple gba. Never owned the sp though

The first portable console that I owned, hard to believe it was replaced in only three years.
Anyways some of the highlights for the GBA were (that I played): Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, Metroid Fusion & Metroid Zero Mission, the Mario Advance games, generation 3 Pokemon and the first Mystery Dungeon, Mega Man Battle Network, A Link to the Past GBA, the Castlevania GBA games and LOTR: The Third Age (my first SPRG and a pretty decent one at that).
Pokémon Emerald and Metroid: Zero Mission , easily my favourite game of all time and my favourite Metroid game

This system marks the start of a slow decline for me. After the N64, Nintendo never matches the highs of that era and with the 5th Gen (I'll include the GameBoy Color for convenience here) as a whole being so great, the shortcomings of the 6th were amplified. Most games I played and liked on the GameBoy Advance were ports of older games;
Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
What I wrote for those games when talking about the SNES applies to these ports, except Super Mario Bros 3. Although I had played it plenty on NES, I didn't really appreciate it until I played it onthe GBA. Probably because I had now become older, and it quickly became one of my favorite Mario games. A Link to the Past came with Four Swords, but I never cared for it, and couldn't even play it because it needed a complicated set-up with additional GBA's and link-cables. The biggest problem though was the lack of friends that had a GBA and the game. Even my nephews grew out of Nintendo for period of time. Like the Gamecube, this system disappointed in what were supposed to be it's biggest games; there was no original Mario platformer, it's original Zelda game (which also released pretty late) was nowhere near the level of it's predecessors and it's Mario Kart wasn't inspired.
Later on though, I learned through the Virtual Console that I missed two games that actually were good, and are now two of my favorites all the same. Had I played those, I would probably have a higher view of the GBA;
Metroid Fusion
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
My favorite GBA games are:
1. Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald
2. Fire Emblem
3. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
4. Pokemon FireRed/Leaf Green
5. Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones
Other games, I loved were Minish Cap, Fire Emblem Binding Blade, Yoshi's Island, Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.
GBA is definitely in my top 5 favorite Consoles of all time, possibly top3 . In high school, I was buying a GBA game every week.
