I was just about tell him that the PS3 was "technically" stronger than the 360. So now that only leaves the OG Xbox and Scorpio. They're pretty much tied in the power department with the consoles. Then again, it's not all that surprising that he said that.

On topic, I think Scorpio will definitely have the advantage in most aspects. However, it's gonna come down to games and pricing. So far, Xbox doesn't look like it's beating PlayStation in the games department. I hope the price is competitive though. I'm definitely getting one later this year on launch day.

PS4pro will be 349$, when the Xbox Scorpio is 449$ or 499$.

The question is simply just a matter of, if people are willing to pay 100$-150$ more to get a scorpio?

I think Sony plan is to fight them with exclusives. ei. Games,games,games.... and cheaper price.

It feels like its more of Financial, like profit and stuff.

How can you compare 1st party games? Different focuses in game design. I can bet you if PS exclusives crossed over to 360 it would run them better. Sony made a powerful system with so many bottlenecks it turned out worse.

If majority of 3rd party games ran better on the 360 than most likely it would run there 1st party games too. So yes 360 was a much better well balanced system than the PS3 and it was outperforming it on more occasions.

....and you know that how?! The point is that the PS3 was technically stronger than the 360 overall. Regardless of developers had difficulty with the cell. That's the only reason why multiplats were designed on the 360 and then ported. Of course multiplats will run better on 360 since it was the console it was developed on. 1st party games on PS3 games utilized it's architecture and power. That's why from a technical standpoint, it appeared as though PS3 first party games looked better than 360's first party games.

Hopefully it installs games faster than XB1.

No, raw numbers tell you it is more powerful. How are you arguing this? I might as well try to argue the PS4Pro will be more Powerful than Scorpio despite what the number say.

Same reason how you say it wont run it better.

More proof says it will than it wont. Look at the number of 3rd party games out preforming the PS3 versions.

Anyone can make a powerful console, making it balanced and easy to develope for is another story. Techniquly the PS3 was more powerful than the 360, however reality is it wasnt.

Halo 4 looked better than most 1st party games on PS3 aside from acouple. So that point is not a valid one.

Forza 4 also looked better than GT5 go watch a compare vid.

...lists a bunch of rumors.



ms can't even get their marketing straight about if scorpio will have exclusives or if all games will be required to support xbone. if all games support xbone then who really gives a fuck how much more specs scorpio has compared to ps4 pro,.. it's all in service to a resolution bump to "true 4k" instead of sony's checkerboarding technique. talk about a waste of power.
