Well not that Switch with power and modern tech is much closer to PS4 than its to 3DS, but 3DS version is dual screen version while Switch has only one screen, also DQ11 PS4 version of game running on Unreal Engine 4 and Switch supports Unreal Engine 4. In other words, PS4 port for Switch is almost certain, not 3DS.

Depends what they will sacrifice, but it could be look better on 6" screen than PS4 version on 40" screen.

I don't think square will release any mainline KH or FF games on switch. DQ has a large following in Japan and even if the Switch doesn't meet Japanese sales expectations (I'm expecting it to under perform in Japan) Dragon Quest has been on Nintendo platforms for a along time and the mainline games sell well on there.  KH and FF are more popular in the West than Japan and we know Nintendo consoles push less 3rd party software than the other 3 platforms (PC,PS4,X1) on average by alot.  I don't see it.

What exactly delusional about thinking that Switch version can look better on 6" screen than PS4 version for instance on 40" screen!? You do realise that for instance PPI (pixel density) of 720p resolution on 6" screen is 245, while 1080p resolution on 32" screen is 69 PPI. For instance games on 5" 540p Vita screen are really looking great, Switch has 720p screen and in portable mode its 5-10x stronger than Vita, so games on Switch will definatly look much better than Vitas.

Then play on a monitor, no one that cares about graphical fidelity should play on the Switch's screen.

I don't think people should compare dragon quest situation with Kingdom hearts. DQ was bound to nintendo systems since ps2 and the exception to this trend is XI coming for ps4, which I think is to gain some steam for the franchise from the west

But I heard third party games are not worth playing and only first party Nintendo games are awesome. JK. From a technical perspective NS Switch will run Kingdom Hearts 3 in 5-6 fps as it severely lacks processing power.
