1,2 Switch way ahead of ARMs and Xenoblade 2

turrible

With ARMS, the difference is that the audience for 1, 2, Switch - that is people looking to goof off with it at parties - know already exactly what it is and what to expect.  Xenoblade 2 only has a teaser, there is much left to see.  ARMS is a new IP and the substance of it is ye unclear.

Edit: it is also a bit cheaper, that helps.

You're right, I just wish they were doing a bit better. Especially ARMS, it's really grown on me

.... faith in humanity gamers is gone man. Thats some questionable taste levels them americans have.

A drunk party game, is selling more than Xenoblade 2.

Seems like the PS4 worked its way up from the 20's, to almost the 10's now.

Xbox One hasnt recovered as well.

Looks like people are buying a Switch, instead of a Xbox (since its hurting them more than playstation in sales).

I hope that Nintendo won't push games like "ARMS" for the Switch. The new Mario and Zelda will be awesome sellers for Switch's first yearin the market. I wonder how they will do in the USA, Read Dead Redemption can eat some of their sales if it isn't on the Switch.

I dont know.People said the same thing about Splatoon and look at what happened.I think ARMS has the potential to repeat that in my opinion.People already have a really good impression with what was shown(including hands on impression) and if they come and say that it has a good single player and it has other modes that I think they said it has, with a good marketing push it could sell really well and who knows, push some consoles

It is a risky move since motion games have a short life. I think that Nintendo spent a lot of time on that motion thing instead of showing for the people that the Switch has good 3 party support.

I think that they already confirmed nearly every single Square Enix game that was successful on Japan.  I'm sure that they will have a lot of support from Square Enix, Bandai Namco and from Sega/Atlus. Now they need to show  the support they are getting from Ubisoft, Bethesda, Activision and other. companies.

We'll know soon enough but regardless of the ins and outs of Amazon, it looks like the Switch will have a healthy launch.

was that ever in doubt?

I am honestly not going to start paying attention to the switch sales till around january next year. I expect them to sell at least 7M NiS units this year.

If the switch somehow doesn't win november or december this year then I may start paying attention then. Cause then it becomes more interesting.

Does anyone really think a launch console would be the bet selling hardware barring any shortages for the majority of this year if not all of it once launched?

7 Millions is a good number for a 1 year and  with only 10 months of sales. Its on  the level of the Xbox One/3DS.

Do we have the specs for the Switch ? I only heard that the console will have a 2.5-6 hours of duration, full charged, and will have 32GB of internal storage. Is that true ? The battery life is good enough, but the storage is too low.

You can play ARMS with regular controls, so thats a no issue.About the third party, japanese seem decent so far, and hopefully it will get better.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

It's its launch year, and 10 months is plenty. If it was coming in november or december then that would be different. No reason why it can't do 2M in its first month on the market. PS4 afetr all did like 4M in its first 45 days on the market.

And yes we have the specs for the switch, or tat least most of them. And yes it does come with only 32GB of internal storage. For what its worth a game like BotW will tak up around 13GB of that if downloaded (if downloaing games is an option they give). We also know that it runs some games when docked at 900p.

Funny thing is that thats kinda better for nintendo. If the super casuals are the ones buying the console for things like one two switch then thats a good thing for now. Its how the wii got to 100M. If the hardware sells primarily to the crowd that would buy the zeldas and xenoblades...etc, well... thats why the wiiU only sold 13M

And yet it's still hasn't moved ... I really don't think these charts are representative of the current console situation. Sorry but this is now laughable to think something isn't wrong here.
