As long as it fills the MS is bad narrative then its ok but its always glossed over when it comes to Sony. Look at Destiny. Xbox owners have to wait a year for DLC. How ridiculous is that?

Your not the first to say something like this and I'm wondering how you and others can miss the point of the thread and what is being said. It's not the actual DLC deals people are saying is wrong but pointing out Phil's hypocrisy. Actually some good points being thrown around besides a few trolls and a few baiting comments.

So if someone points to a bad practice we should blame them even if they are right? If Sony said that would you encourage MS fans to blame Sony because they are also guilty of it? What I see is that there are bad practices made by companies and people fight with each other instead of trying to help fix this.

BTW, last gen was way better in case of exclusivity than past gens. Both Nintendo and Sony got better positions because of these practices. Nintendo's way of doing was rather draconian and Sony did made a lot of exclusive deals to ensure other consoles git no where near their position. Last gen was almost the end of such era. This gen is 1000x better, exclusivity is less and less prevalent than it was.

Yes if Sony said the same thing while paying for such deals then they should be called on it too.

And no previous generations weren't littered with such deals. Most PS1 games were excluive because devs couldn't fit their games on cartriges and they didn't want to pay outrageous licensing fees to Nintendo for those cartriges. It was simply cheaper to make games for PS1.

And PS2 had such a huge installbase and the architecure was so different from the competitors that devs had to choose which console they were gonna make a game for and PS2 was th logical choice over the others.

Similar to how most japanese games this gen are PS4 exclusives by default and not because Sony pays those devs to keep the games off XB1, the devs just don't think it's worth their resources to make a port for XB1.

But it's not a case of either of them stopping doing it to complain, it's an ongoing fight where one of the people punching away is saying that certain things are below the belt, while going for the nut shots at the same time as saying it :D

I would think the comment was just as daft if Kaz said it or anyone else on the Sony side of things given that we've had SFV being PC/PS4 and a bunch of other games either kept on the PS4 for longer than made sense or with dlc only on the Sony platform, like I said my issue isn't with the practice here, it is the fact that if Phil and his department didn't like the practice, they should really stop doing it at least before making the tweet.

TBH I don't think this tweet is going to change what console is wrapped up under peoples Tree's for the 25th very much now anyways be it a Sony or an MS machine!

Good observation... I really hope 2017 brings Original Xbox games to X1. Seeing Voodoo Vince remastered makes me believe they want those Xbox games back.
