Wii's pronblem was not that it had a lot of shovelware, it was the lack of good games.

That's very debatable, I found many masterpieces on the console including some of the very best games of the gen and Metacritic has more than 200 Wii games with mostly positive reviews, that is a great value for the little money you had to pay for a Wii.

Where are you looking that? On Metacritic Wii has like +200 games with +75 lol

And that's without having nearly as many remasters or DLC counted as game like in the case of Ps4, also the indie scene was not at all that big then as it is today.

But I didn't mean the shovelware comment as something bad anyways, in fact I hope Switch is the next one to get all the shovelware.

The level of shovelware will only increase with time like it happened to Wii, specially now with VR, I'm not saying it'll have more than Wii but probably closr than what people wants to believe, and that's ok, bad games don't erase good ones, I'm only saying is far from being a exclusive thing to Wii.

Oh yeah, shovelware certainly isn't a Wii exclusive thing. Nor does it negate the good games the Wii had. But the Wii gained the reputation it did for a reason. I'm not sure if we'll ever see another system with as much shovelware (other than...Steam) again.
