Lol. It's fine, I am just curbing the enthusiasm surrounding the Android release. "Investors" are impossible to please as it is.
There is an article today that says the game broke records by being downloaded 40 million times in 4 days.

Yep, fastest downloaded app ever on iOS. I'm excited to see what the conversation rate at the end of the week. Even if they maintain a 8-10% (which was the first announcement), that's a lot of downloads.

Latest data suggests a 4% paid download rate, so about 1.6 Million paid downloads, Not bad but I expect the percentage to drop further as the people downloading it first are more likely to be the more enthusiastic/hardcore users/fans

2.1 million sales (paid downloads) have already been reported though.

Everyone knows though, that real hard data means nothing and we should only take an analysts assumptions as fact.
Don't you love how analysts and investors making random guesses can screw over the little people in the stock market. I mean Super Mario Run is breaking records for an app, and yet the Nintendo stock is tanking. Good job analysts. I would be pissed if I held stock in Nintendo.

Well, I would just buy more.
If I had more disposable income, I would dabble more than what I do through my Roth IRA, but I managed what I have for now.
App Annie did release a report that back his statement with a 4.5-5% conversion rate. That's not quite as good, but we'll see how that holds after the first month.
Not looking to dissect this really. I just want to be another person to chime in with a "what the fuck?"
1. It is very successful buy iphone app standards
2. It is making a lot of money
3. The human species consciousness is becoming so short-term that we are making impactful judgments (stock market, app store reviews) not even after letting a week go by.
I thought the game was very mediocre the first couple days, then the rally mode combined with the extra characters and collectibles shop got me into an addictive groove.
In other words, as simple as this game appears on the outside (and it is indeed simple), its draw can't necessarily be seen in a matter of days. Word-of-mouth for this game from the people who love it will make a long-term impact. I'm convinced. And because the brand recognition is so much strong than dungeons&Dragons, Sonic, even flappy bird, it's not going to vanish.
I think it is a more substantive game than Pokemon Go as well. Nothing can change investors minds right now, but if the game continues to sell well long-term than investors may eventually come around.
