Why?  Bayonetta 2 on the WiiU bombed,  shes better off back on the xbox and ps.

Bullshit. Sold 1million on Wii U with a 13 mill install base.  PS60 with a 160 million units sold Bayo1 didn't even sell 2 million. Yes SEGA did make money because Nintendo paid for it. SEGA got paid before the game went into development.

THANK YOU FOR BEING THE ONLY PERSON USING LOGIC WHEN TALKING ABOUT BAYONETTA'S Sales! Seriously, the amount of times the media biasely shat on it's sales without looking into them and doing research was embarrsing. Bayonetta 2 sold faster than Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze on it's release date, it just didn't have as long of legs as Donkey's(lol)

Excuses,  the game bombed no matter what way you spin it.

No it didn't.

How is Parasite Eve not in the OP?!

With the increase in VR and space games recently. I'm surprised Sony haven't jumped at the chance to make a new Colony Wars game. But alas, I think they have forgotten they own it.

Hmm, pie.

Dino Crisis.

Not enough good dinosaur games these days.

Robinson the Journey is awesome.

The first game flopped on last gen, hence why either system didn't even get the second game, let alone bothering to secure and fund a sequel themselves or even remaster/remake the frist game. It had to have sales of both the PS3 and 360 just to look remotely good. Last gen those two systems had huge install abses, that's shiot no matter what way you could ever possibly try spinning it.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Half of those franchise are dead.

Most of those are dead. Not saying that I would mind seeing Vanquish return, mind you.

You guys are acting like Platinum Games didn't understand Bayonetta's relative unpopularity, especially on Nintendo consoles were here games never appeared before. You keep saying it "flopped" but that's comparing it to titles like Donkey Kong or Splatoon - Bayonetta 2's budget was probably fit around the idea that it would sell just under a million copies. And Nintendo helped development costs and advertising. So I don't understand what yall getting at...just because it's not a million seller doesn't make it a flop. Seriously, I honestly think almost everyone calling it a flop is just subconciously remembering all the terribly written articles calling it out as a flop without much sense to them.

I mean it's clear that Xbox One gamers hardly buy BIG TRIPLE A third party titles like Rise of the Tomb Raider or Sunset Overdrive, so what, you'd want Bayonetta on that console? Honestly, I have a feeling that if nintendo and Platinum weren't such a weird couple for Bayonetta's development, it wouldn't have gotten the traction it did. It only sold so well because it was "that weird mature title from Nintendo". It would have gotten barried by the Xbox and Playstation.

Regardless, almost 1 million(maybe one million including digital?) on an install base of 13 million is great. If we scaled that to say 23 million install base or 40 million install base, it would have sold much better than Bayonetta on 2 different platforms. Either way, you can not lie that the percentile of sales is dispaportionate. If Bayonetta 3 releases on the Switch with as much marketing as 2 had, oh boy.....

Now we just have to hope the Switch is good.

And yet it sold less than half on the WiiU :)
