I love Crisis Core, I play missions all day long and they're good going for short bursts, you can beat a mission ins a few minutes no problem. The one downfall is because it's clearly supposed to be a faster pace then your normal RPG you lose some of the RPG strategy and exploration, but Midgar in 3D looks great regardless. |
I am pretty sure it is just additional content added to the Original Portable Ops. Here is the Gamestop description and from what it says, it seems to be the same story and such.
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus is a standalone addition to last year’s award winning stealth action title of the same name. Focusing on a portable multiplayer experience, players will be able to enjoy more maps, more missions, and recruit a talented crew of war heroes for battling real opponents in online arenas.
Now to Crisis Core.
I thought the battle style was strange at first but it actually fits great for what is supposed to be a "portable" game. Easy to explore areas and quick combat. Instead of something where you need to have at least 30mins-1hour of spare time if you even want to think about starting to play it. Which is why God of War is actually not what I consider portable, well... the game and the console is, but it requires tons of time invested on each level, not really what I would call "on the go gaming", although I love the series because of my interest in almost eveything Ancient Greece.
My job would kill me if I spent an extra 20mins on the bowl so I can complete my level.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
