Sovial Liberal 14 27.45%

Fiscal Conservative 6 11.76%

I hate that we live in a two party system country as Americans (meaning only two major parties).

I appreciate what the Germans have (like 5 parties) and even the UK (like 2.5 parties) because it allows people to vote for people that are closer to what they believe instead of voting for the lesser of two evils.

That being said, I'm curious, if we totally get rid of the parties, what most people on this website would consider themselves to be. Vote in the poll when I finish!

I'm a Communist, so I don't really fit in your poll it seems ;)

Honestly. I have no freaking clue. Maybe I don't like labels. Maybe I'm as uninterested as usual on politics. But one thing I'm sure of: I'm not even American

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Yes you do. That is about as fiscally liberal as it gets. You want the government to control the economy, which is the opposite of wanting a fiscally conservative government.

Not really as "fiscally conservative" is just another word for classical liberalist policies. Liberalism itself is opposed to government control of the economy as well. I'd be fiscally socialist.

Socialist, and I find the pools lack of options disturbing ;D

I believe all labels are used falsely. Conservatives are not actually conservative, Liberals are not actually liberal, as per definitions created during the age of enlightenment. They are mislabeled to represent if you are anti; abortion, gay, muslim... Or Pro; welfare, taxes, atheism... etc.

These are candy issues to a libertarian such as myself. I view so called Liberals and Conservatives as authoritarians. Progressive at that. They are the same in terms of destruction of our rights and abuse of state power. Tweedle dee and Tweedle Dummer..

The first federalist wanted to institute a federal bank and interpret "general welfare" in the enumerated powers to mean literally anything. No one at the convention gave a second or 'aye' to his 5 hour speech. He left embarrassed. Yet here we are today with everything Hamilton sought after.

I don't have an affiliation. My ideas go for all sides in different days and depending on the day of the week or even mood, what people consider me can change drastically based off any given event

Conservative in the traditional sense in my country, so I don't know how to identify with your poll. Canadian politics has devolved lately into some sort of mishmash where every single party is afraid to move away from the centre so there isn't much choice.

What's wrong with being progressive I guess you like child labor, slave wages, no benefits, no overtime pay, massive pollution, unsave working contitions etc. etc.
