That's up to Nintendo. The good news is that the game doesn't depend on players to play it daily to be a money maker. You buy it, you play it. A strong successful launch means the game had done its duty sales-wisde. Unlike freemium games that depend on ads and microtransactions, a strong release for those type of games isn't always good news. |
Yeah, I do really like that this game is a one-and-done deal. Not really a fan of games that try to manipulate more money out of you.

It's the top free app in all of the countries listed above. But clearly, not everyone is buying. In Venezuela it's the top free App but it's no where to be seen in the top grossing charts lol
The game isn't released in iOS biggest market yet, China. Korea is absent too.
Don't read much into the rankings, I am certainly not, I am waiting for the Japanese chart to update. It debuted at 6, it will be interesting to see where it will go from there, since Japan is the top smartphone game market.
Should probably update the title of the thread then.
