Yep, updating my comparison thread as well (see sig). So much win in this patent.

NS is literally a dream console.

home based power/play, portable/off-tv, touch, motion, IR, VR, NFC, force feedback, nearly unlimited control options, 4-players per console, easily link additional consoles for massive local play, quickly extendable and exchangeable storage, share/social media support, touchscreen, ... and definitely Nintendo 1st party games!

Jan 12th is going to be an interesting event. :)

This is beautfiul! And if the price rumors are true too....... My God!

Nintendo doesn't expect people to play a 4 player game on a 6 inch screen do they?

Would be excellent for kids, though

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Yes and no. In the console diagram they've put two slots, which one could guess are for game cartridges and SD cards. See it for yourself (top left after "Left- Side Terminal":

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

There's a patent for a Joy-Con with a Dpad and the right analog stick on top of the face buttons.

There is a God.

Plenty of low power SD classics to choose from.

So I definitely think that the Switch Joycon incorporates the long rumored "Vitality Sensor" on the bottom right controller. I've always wanted them to take advantage of this technology in games and hopefully it will become a reality now!
