I don't care what I get. It's more important that people get the right things from me. By that I mean I know what's best for them.

If they dont own Rocket League, send them a fucking turd for being a terrible person. They dont deserve Rocket League.

Don't worry, I still got a turd over from the last secret santa thread.

Two days left to join the fun!

Also, a reminder to everybody, myself included: make sure that you are friend with those that take part of the event. In Steam you can't gift games to someone who isn't a friend.

Really? I don't remember becoming a friend of my last Tim but i had problems finding his account and at the end thanx to Noname massive gifting knowledge I was able to send them in through email.

Welcome!

Your GOG link gives me an error. Can you check it, please? Also, if you have any preference, let me know.

Oops, the privacy setting for the wishlist was on "friends only", now it is open to everyone and the URL should work... no wonder that I got no gifts from strangers. ;)

Perhaps others should check their privacy settings for Steam + GOG, too.

I prefer Steam, but if a game is cheaper on GOG or if GOG put more effort in compatibility patches, i go with that version.

In order to make it easier to our Secret Santa to know what we really want (as well as bumping a bit the thread itself), I thought that it could be a good idea to share what games we're looking forward the most in the upcoming Steam Winter Sales. Tell us, what games are you sure, or almost sure, that you'll get regardless of what happens? Or which ones are you following, hoping for a nice discount that will seal the purchase? And the contrary too, what games or genres you don't care about?

My most wanted games which will be around $10 in Winter sale are the Limbo-successor INSIDE (if you haven't tried the demo yet, do it now!) and FIREWATCH.

Thanks for taking a look at that. I've send you a friend request.

Good selection of games.

Welcome!

And there's no need to hurry, you still have a lot of time to choose the right games.

A turd? You mean like Batman Arkham City?

Yes, you can gift through a mail account. But don't know how it works because I've never used it. That's why I haven't asked for an email to any of you.

By the way, I've noticed something weird on my Steam friends list. I have a FunFan (like you) but your account is GreenSparkle. Do you have two accounts?

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Gah! I almost missed it this year! Yes, I would like to join.

On steam I'm just Trunkin. Actually, chances are if you run into someone with this name in any game it's me. Wishlist: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198089006895/wishlist/ Yes it's huge. I'm gonna try to clean it up a little in the next couple of days. I tend to prefer games with a Linux version, as I'm just too lazy to reboot into Windows half the time.

Y'know, I've been dying to try out Rocket League. *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*

I'll sign up. I'm luckytrouble on Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/id/luckytrouble/

I do have a lot there, and my wishlist is hardly comprehensive because I usually just know what I want and buy it whenever I feel the price is low enough. That said, I like JRPGs and have been considering picking up the small "Tales of" collection that is on Steam. I'm also partial to action titles.

My PC can handle anything out right now with gusto, so no technology limits to worry about. My only big categories that I'm not partial to are real time strategy titles and the entire MOBA genre.

Your list is as big as the list you compare it with. No list is bigger than Basil's one.

JRPGs and Action games, your Secret Santa will have plenty of options out there.

Well, you should also remove the funfan one. With family share I just play all those games on greensparkle anyway. That account sees little use these days. (It also has 80+ hours of Final Fantasy XIII clocked in, which I obviously don't want anyone to see.)
