Yes. It just proves that FF13 sucked so bad that it killed Yakuza, too.

LMAO!

Dammit, I missed you Badgenome! xD

How can you expect for game to sell millions when where is only about 3-4m PS4 there.

No. I think the mentality that each FF is different meant that while sequels would be the same (the reason FF13-2 and 3 would never do as well as FF13), the next iteration of FF would be different so you can dislike one and really like the next. I think sadly however, moving FFvs13 to be FF15, the delay (development time) and the choice in gameplay for FF and changes in market in Japan and releasing 1 week after Pokemon may have affected things.

Get FF16 out in decent time, release it at a time not conflicting with another major franchise and make it more 'traditional' and the sales could be as high as previous entries again.

Hmm, pie.

I doubt FF13 had nearly the negative impact on the series in Japan that some people are claiming.

FF13 was pretty well liked over there, for one thing. The spin-offs were different styles, as well. If people didn't want to play them then they just ignored them.

As the numbered Final Fantasy games are usually unique worlds with new characters and game-play schemes, previous versions will have less impact on subsequent versions and the spin-offs even less.

People are just going to have to face the fact that a large number of consumers simply didn't have much interest in FF15. Square tried hard to make FF15 into an amalgam of things that are popular in Japan instead of being FINAL FANTASY and I think it backfired.

Final Fantasy 15 isn't very Final Fantasy, which is really what hurt the game the most.

Japan is a dead market. That's the reason.

I don't think so I mean look at the wii u sales and to it's 3rd party games sales they are far from good and I honestly don't think the reason for ff-5 poor sales is ff13 I just think that the ff franchise went very far from its core which trurn based rpg with a world full of fantasies. And I don't think japaness gamer except changes easily
