Thats fine.

Anyhow, telling kids Santa isnt real is pretty pointless and silly.

No it's not. The point is to give kids something magical and fun. I grew up believeing in Santa and it was wonderful.

You missed the word "Isn't"

Not up for debate or discussions, just consider the following.

http://www.simpletoremember.com/vitals/Christmas_TheRealStory.htm#_ftn7

Roman pagans first introduced the holiday of Saturnalia, between December 17-25. In the 4th century CE, Christianity imported the Saturnalia festival hoping to take the pagan masses in with it by promising them that they could continue to celebrate the Saturnalia as Christians.

"Christmas Trees" Pagans had long worshipped trees in the forest, or brought them into their homes and decorated them, and this observance was adopted and painted with a Christian veneer by the Church.

Yup, it's kind of amusing how he gets so upset about Santa, when the whole holiday isn't exactly Christian at all. The Church freely admits that Jesus wasn't born at christmas... Easter also has it's roots in some pagan fertility festivals, hence the rabbit and eggs.

I wonder if this guy attacks kids at Easter for buying chocolate eggs too.

Unless he can disprove Santa, he's obviously real.

So technically, Happy Saturnalia is the correct term for the holiday season, lol.

Ahh, non religious people on the internet. It's like their mission to go out of their way to belittle religious peoples beliefs. I mean I've seen religious folks do the same thing but I swear it's like a life mission for Athiests

Basically, it's amazing how many essentially Anti-Religion threads are created in proportion to how many Religious threads.
