Forums - Nintendo - Gerudo Fortress and Kokiri Forest from Ocarina of Time Recreated in Unreal Engine

This doesn't look too bad, but Nintendo would obviously do a better job if they were to use the UE4 to recreate OoT.

uhhh could not play zelda if it looked like that..... just looks too boring

I think these Unreal Engine recreations look very generic honestly, most of the time the people that make them don't even try to recreate the original artstyle, so it just ends up looking too realistic, and not in a good way =P

Technically nice, but lacking spirit. Also, he's gathering money for the project on Patreon, so knowing Nintendo, it's not going to be good. Knowing any company, it wouldn't be good because of the money part.

I feel like that N64 "fog" gave the forest a magical charm that this just doesn't capture.

The graphics are nice... but its lacking abit in art style.
Id like to see Nintendo try and go in this direction though.

Meh, these things always look bad. This one's no different. Even when forgetting about the Link. There's just no style, extremely generic and one-dimensional. The only one of those fanmade things that looked good was that Majora's Mask CG fanfilm-teaser we saw lately. That looked technically and stylishly good and faithful to the series.

Looks nice for sure, but for some reason it looks a bit strange to see and would prefer a more stylistic approach if that makes any sense :/
