If the switch meets the majority of your expectations, will you buy it!

Day one for sure! 177 35.83%

Not day one, but close to release 81 16.40%

Maybe the first year, maybe not 103 20.85%

I'm never getting it! Down with nintendo! 70 14.17%

I'm not sure yet 63 12.75%

Numerous things:

First, a price cut. I don't care about how much it costs to make, I don't care about how much you think the technology in the Switch is valuable, the Switch cannot cost more than a PS4 costs today. Period.

Second, it must include a pack-in game. And not some hot garbage like 1-2 Switch or ARMS. I'll wait for a sensible bundle with Mario, and/or Splatoon, and/or Zelda, and/or Mario Kart.

Third, the price of those accessories have to come down. Pro controllers $70? Switch controllers with charging dock $120? Fuck you Nintendo. I'm not paying that. Again, I don't care about "HD rumble" or any of that other nonsense. It's unacceptable.

Fourth, proof that Nintendo is actually building a sensible online multiplayer network that they intend on properly supporting. They have dropped the ball on this big time, and the console is coming out in a few days.

After that, I'll consider it. Until then, no buy.

^^This. And I'll add to that: When the scumbag importers and retailers in my country sell it at a reasonable price.

Not launch, but maybe this year. Really I think it needs more games before it's worth it, but I'm a gadget geek and may end up getting one in the summer to have something to play while traveling.

I'm sorry, ARMS is hot garbage?

Looking by the arguments you just listed, you're not just being uninterested, you're lashing out.

I'm sorry, ARMS is hot garbage?

Why is it okay for me to call 1-2 Switch "hot garbage" and you not say something about that when you know there are going to be people that spend hundreds of hours playing that game and love every minute of it? I bet if I called other games like say "Call of Duty" that are tremendously popular and also hated on "hot garbage", you wouldn't bat an eye. But something tells me you threw up your arms and cried foul because because you're excited about ARMS, and not about 1-2 Switch. How about you try and appreciate someone else's perspective?

How dare I not like a game? How dare I find a ARMS as equally unappealing as 1-2 Switch? I wouldn't pay $5 for either. I also regret spending $5 on tearaway and consider that came to be absolute trash, even though it's adored by many. It has nothing to do with how well these games are made, it has nothing to do with the quality or how loved these games are. It's because these games are completely unappealing to me, the same way hot garbage is unappealing to me. Understand?

By the way, I actually do intend on buyiung a Switch if the above happens. I'm not just being "a hater" as I'm sure you'd label me.

I'm not labelling you as a hater, but as an aggressive user. I find your behavior corrosive not just because I disagree with you, but because you're quite cranked up and frankly, way too blunt. I regard 1-2 Switch in my mind as borderline shovelware, the sort of game that would connect with casual players in a way Wii Play or Wii Party did. I don't necessarily agree on the term ''Hot Garbage'', but it is closer to what I think of this game than ARMS. Your basic evaluation of ARMS' potential and description of it is irksome and I would label it as bad faith.

You can find ARMS as equally unappealing as 1-2 Switch, and I share the sentiment. But never would I call it hot garbage when in fact the game could work and become a critical success. We just all know that 1-2 Switch won't be, even if it doesn't keep it from being enjoyed by millions.

I might suggest you tone it down a little bit, because clearly you tried to explain something and it came out all wrong. Those two games are not hot garbage, we know what hot garbage is. You could have said that they ''don't appeal to me'' and it would have been fine. Words matter, especially on forums.

Price drop, good bundle, and a series of games I want at least shown. I know... I'm asking far too much.

How about you leave the moderating to the moderators? K, thanks.

Nah, you're not. It's all very basic common sense. You'll get your price drop and bundle at the very least, in a year or two.

i'd buy one if there will be no more mario, zelda and pokemon games ever.
