III is by far the best of the orignal trilogy.

I think 3 is the best "Pick up and play" of the series. Story isn't very complex, gameplay is simple but fun, game doesnt really hold your hand but can also be hard. Idk, to me, it's the best for just traveling and such unlike 4-6 which are more story heavy and 1-2 which are easy to get lost in

FFX, when it came out, played it with my friend, we were completely taken. I didn't play the old ones until later, gaming was crazy expensive when I grew up and kids generally don't have a lot of money...

As someone who hadn't heard the originals, I thought it was an amazing soundtrack! It was good of them to include the original OST in the PS4 version though

I loved the original soundtrack, so it made it really hard to play with the arranged versions.
