Are you serious, you feel that strongly about it?

Yes. The environment is an important and precious thing. He has no regard for it and will continue to destroy years of efforts to finding solutions for protecting our earth. I believe people generations from now should not be screwed over by people of today who willingfully helped fuck up everything just to earn fast $$ now.

I respect your opinon as anyone should as you have your reasoning but personally believe that this climate change/warming is a red herring in it's current form in the political sense.

Unless all countries with potential to spew out offending emissions are neutered then it really is just kicking the can down the road. Getting India for example to cooperate on climate change goals is simply not going to happen for at least 30 years taking into account it's current growth and place in the world economically.

Back to US politics and likewise unless a democract with the ethics of a progressive and that can also force both houses to to tow the line of the president, it's also just lip service. (this will never happen as things stand now)

Climate change accords are a watered down waste of time, and the work it took to get where we are now was years of pressure from non government groups.

Without genuine government backing climate change will just be an afterthought and lip service to get believers' votes with nothing done.

The only thing that can possibly get climate change to be taken seriously by the whole electorate is when the world is actually physically on the edge of doom and that doom is visible obviously, not just through the scientific community reaching concensus on a point of no return. We have a long way to go for that to happen and by which point it will allegedly be too late.

So what's the point?

Sort it out now, or forget about it is the only way. We clearly aren't going to sort it out now so let's just forget about it.

Not even hard left dems on the whole will put their political career on the line to force the issue - that's what it needs.

So, Trump did in fact not say it, it's coming from someone that doesn't have a place in his cabinet or administration. Just because someone is hired as a consultant doesn't mean they're an example of your platform.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

What's wrong you Americans. The US Republican Party and their supporters seem to be utter nutcases, with crackpot views that don’t stand up to any scrutiny (eg, gun control will make you unsafe, tax cuts for billionaires will help the poor, climate change is a hoax). No-one else in the world, apart from US Republicans, seem to believes such things.

After she donated a lot of money to his campaign?

I'm so surprised.

Trump appears to have a long history with WWF/WWE so its probably good ol' fashion cronyism.

Frankly, I'm not sure if this position really matters that much. You know how you help small business? Less taxes and regulations.

I'm fine with it. To hire a small business owner to run the small business administration sound good to me.

1. Gun control is a complex issue, especially when cities with significant regulations have high gun crime.

2. The tax cuts are to encourage business in the country, thus creating more jobs.

3. Not all call it a hoax or deny its happening. The debates are more about the causes and how much do we want to impact economy to be more green. If we really care about this planet then cows need to be extinct!

The US presidency is now a business/reality show. I dont know any man, woman or child that can prove to me that this guy has a plan for the common person. No doubt, linda tried to influence herself into the position because shes been after it after failed attempts.

So far he's off to a good start saving those Carrier jobs. How about you wait and see what happens.

Yeah and Trump couldve had the Union boss killed by running his mouth on Twitter about him. Dude got death threats. He needs to stop talking shit about people. Luckily the Union Boss has balls and said its not like he hadnt been threatened before so whatever. Some of his followers are extremely dangerous and believe everything the demogogue says. Yes, he saved the majority of the jobs but not all of them.

He didn't save a majority of them. He didn't even save half of them. That was why that union boss got death threats. He came forward said that Trump was exaggerating the amount of jobs he saved.

Anyone who trump talks crap about on twitter gets death threats. Havent you been noticing the trend? All the way from Megyn Kelly to this situation.  The dude needs to pay attention before he gets an innocent person hurt. Saving the jobs isnt up to the union boss but the higher ups. For crying outloud he guy needs someone take his twitter from him and put him in a corner somewhere.
