Debian is nice, it is also the distro I use day to day.

I recommend taking a look at Alpine.

Alpine sounds pretty neat. Probably not ideal for my everyday use but pretty neat nonetheless.

Yeah, the repo also leaves much to be desired.
Works very well if you don't care about extra details.

Technically, yes. As long as Windows supports the SoC.
