I know 10000 people must have said this already but you served it on a silver plate: I mean it's not a huge shocker that Japan wants entratainment related to Squids that spray in Ink on little Girls.

Haha lol yes! Well.... we can at least be surprised that the game came from Nintendo...... XD
Pocky Lover Boy!
I haven't played FF15 but I keep seeing everyone say it's westernized. Why is that? Because of the game-play? Though, action-RPGs have been trending upwards over there for a long time and are the main reason for my waning interest in the genre. Is it something else?
So have they overshipped? Didn't they claim to have shipped 5 millions copies?
I think Japanese just don't like Square Enix.
Square Enix done a good job winning over new fans in the west, now they have to win over new fans in Japan lol.
That seems exceptionally low D: There are a lot of factors to consider though, like the state of home consoles in Japan. Wonder how much NA and EU will pick up the slack in sales.
Also..

I need to find myself some of that content

Citation needed.
That must be why trails and persona sold much more FFXV. oh wait...
It is a game clearly aimed at the western market, it was rather obvious it would not do as well as other FFs on Japan.
From what I saw in the comg thread I was expecting around 500k opening at most over there. Was surprised and glad that it did 700k without digital. Yeah fw was bad compared to previous games but everyone expected something like that to happen
