Forums - Gaming - Rumour: FF 1-9 collection, 13 trilogy & 7 Remake ep. 1 coming next year

Yeah... 1 to 9 collection would be really sweet. XIII trilogy can die in a fire. :x

Better yet, in a supernova.

That collection on disc is not happening, though - unless the price is above $60 - it just sounds too good to be true :3

Saw this on PSNP and thought it was worth a post here too, even if it does seem too good to be true...

2017 will be the 30th anniversary for Final Fantasy and Square Enix will celebrate the milestone with the following items:

Final Fantasy releases in 2017 to celebrate the anniversary: Square will launch Final Fantasy VII Remake (first episode) and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age as main games to celebrate the Final Fantasy’s birthday.

Final Fantasy XIII trilogy is coming to PS4 during the next year. The bundle will include Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2 and Lightning Returns on separate discs to be enjoined in 1080p and 60fps.

Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection.

This compilation will include Final Fantasy I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and IX and it will be released on PS4 and PS Vita in a single disc/card.

– Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions and Chrono Trigger could be released on Steam before the end of 2017.

– Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy XV are coming to PC, but likely not until early-mid 2018.

tell me the reputation of the leaker , is he or he have some good or bad reputation in the past , the track record of the leaker.

Hmm. This sounds great, but on the other hand, I've been moving my focus to PC even with games that have traditionally been console games. Literally the only reason for this is ensuring backwards compatibility, which console manufacturers seem to have happily dismissed. I don't want to be buying the same games again and again every time a new console is released. I'm especially annoyed with Sony's decision to not support PS1 games at all on PS4, and the decision to not support PS2 discs on PS4. In this digital age, at the very least digital PS1 games should be supported on PS4.

In other words, as great as this sounds, I'll probably be simply getting almost every FF game (and probably most other multiplatform games as well) on PC instead.

Ahhh, VGleaks. The same webpage that said Deep Down was Dragon's Dogma 2. The same webpage that said Uncharted 4's DLC was played with Sam. The same webpage that said Final Fantasy XV was PS4 exclusive. (Courtesy of Ryuu for providing the sources, thank you very much Ryuu!)

You know where their credibility lies so far.

If this is true, my wallet will seriously lose it! And it'd be nice if the remaster of FFVII and IX were including in the 1-9 Collection rather than the PS1 version.  In which case I also hope they remaster VIII for this too!

If true this will mae 18 games to buy on PS4 just in 2017!! gahhhh  Looks like  the Switch can wait.

The collection with 1 - 9 would be really great

This I concure.

FF collection plus trophies will be SOLD!

In Sony We Trust!

Disregard my post counts....but it's all true this is happening next year (PM me for my sources)

Also, we should of had a FF7 demo right now....it was slated for a big psx reveal but too many problems with it though; working out the kinks now.

Sorry if I just came out of nowhere and hell, we can bet on this info as well.

A 2018 PC release of FFXV would be good, the FFXIII version took to long to release on Steam.

That would be so insane!!! But I think this seems very unlikely.... Final Fantasy 12 HD Remaster and Final Fantasy 7 Remake in 2017 are the only realistic ones imo. :/

Edit: Wait the leak is from VGLeaks, the same people who knew about the God of War PS4 setting?!
