That is not uncharted 4 dlc, it's a new uncharted game

Also psx has a huge impact on the gen, Sony remain in the conversation of core gamers, Nintendo announced a new console and people aren't talking about switch right now, they are talking about FF XV and TLOUS 2 and CRBANDICOOT PS4
And if you think only core gamers care about PSX, you are wrong, look at the views on FB and YouTube combined.... Tens of millions of views for TLOUS 2 and millions more for more PS ip in just a day.... Fb and social media promo is bigger than any other way of promo today, look at lady gaga, top 40 radio has resisted support for her yet her new single in selling and is one of the ten best selling record of the month so far..... Becauseof social media promo on Spotify and Fb

| Soundwave said: XBox One has 95% of the same really worthwhile games as PS4 does. They got off to a good start by taking advantage of some mistakes on MS' part, but even MS is doing a better job now. MS made a grave mistake in banking on Kinect, and that made their system simultatenously $100 more expensive AND less powerful (a no-no for the XBox brand, since people associate it with good hardware). They are recovering from that by making smarter decisions now but I think the damage for this gen has already been done. |
Uncharted is a bigger ip than halo and gears right now....
And the last of us is bigger than uncharted, and that's exclusive to someone.....
Very wrong you are though, Sony has the biggest first party studios out of the big three right now..... And have the biggest games

When you are outselling your nearest competition by 2+:1, you don't need to buy exclusives nearly as often. Sony may just offer to pay for some extra advertising. Some devs probably just think of the ease of developing on one system. There's also an added hype benefit from being exclusive.
| RolStoppable said: The OP is too much about arranging data points to fit a conclusion. At its most basic level, the OP is about as pointless as writing the same thing about the 3DS. When the competition has committed so many suicidal mistakes in either case, then the victory is more a matter of "win by default" instead of a win by effort. Beyond that, Scorpio is the next generation Xbox, because it doesn't merely feature a refined CPU and GPU, but an entirely new chipset. Nintendo Switch is obviously next generation as well. Therefore Sony has won the home console side of generation 8, no matter what kind of scenarios you come up with for Scorpio and Switch. The PS5 isn't far off either. A 2018 launch should be expected at the current state of things. |
I would assume Sony wants to wait until the Navi GPU and K12 CPU architectures release so that the PS5 makes a nice big generational leap. Some of Sony's 1st party games will definitely not come out until 2018, so a 2019 launch will be better timing.

That's very subjective. To me personally, they're missing a massive amount of the games I either have or want on PS4. |
B.I.N.G.O.!
My own list looks like this...
Guilty Gear Xrd Revalator, Persona 5, The Last Guardian, No No Kuni 2, Odin Sphere, Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, Ace Combat 7, The Last of Us 2, Kingdom Hearts 3, Ratchet and Clank Remake, Dragon Quest XI (if it comes stateside that is), Gravity Rush 2, Dragon Quest Builders.
Global gaming library > what the competition can provide.
Look at JP when it comes to gaming diversity PS = Nintendo (solely because of their exclusives) >>>>> Xbox (who only gets JPwest games like Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, and Metal Gear).
Look at EU PS >>> Xbox > Nintendo
Look at NA PS = Xbox > Nintendo
PS just has significantly more diversity than the other 2, because when compared to Nintendo PS has full 3rd party support which instantly gives them a strong edge over Nintendo in the global market especially EU and NA.
For Xbox PS has the JP market and a huge collection of niche and artistic experiences that just don't blend well with what the majority of the xbox community looks for in games.
Then you add in PlayStation's exclusives which overall have some kinks in their diversity armor when it comes to first party (top tier Fighter, FPS, JRPG, etc...), but they make up with it with solid offerings from their multiple studios and 2nd party support, while also dominating with best in class games from the genres they do develop for.
I would rather say the winners of this generation are gamers on every side of the spectrum.

Anyway, I can't disagree with you. Sony doing what they've being doing since the PS1.
