Look at JP when it comes to gaming diversity PS = Nintendo (solely because of their exclusives) >>>>> Xbox (who only gets JPwest games like Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, and Metal Gear).
Look at EU PS >>> Xbox > Nintendo
Look at NA PS = Xbox > Nintendo
PS just has significantly more diversity than the other 2, because when compared to Nintendo PS has full 3rd party support which instantly gives them a strong edge over Nintendo in the global market especially EU and NA.
For Xbox PS has the JP market and a huge collection of niche and artistic experiences that just don't blend well with what the majority of the xbox community looks for in games.
Then you add in PlayStation's exclusives which overall have some kinks in their diversity armor when it comes to first party (top tier Fighter, FPS, JRPG, etc...), but they make up with it with solid offerings from their multiple studios and 2nd party support, while also dominating with best in class games from the genres they do develop for.
