Yeah that IS pretty bad. CPU power is way better than X1, but depending on integrated video, with only 4GB of ram and a 500GB (very low areal density = slowwww) is terrible.
They're savable at least. Replace HDD with 960GB SSD (about ~$100 each) and Nvidia 950 (about ~$140 each), combined with a 16GB DDR4 kit (about $65 each), and you'd go from horrible to blazing fast.
Someone needs to be fired for choosing that config, 4GB is inexcusable in 2016.

My company also works with dell, but I haven't had problems gettign a adequate machine, not sure about people who use it for design.

And yet my XBONE collects dust. You can call the best games this gen, but they all seem pretty meh to me. Hell, i've been a huge fan of Halo since forever and even I think Halo 5 turned out to be a box of rocks.

Those were before the brief XBOS boom and before G4. Assuming they were at least as fast, being slightly higher now doesn't seem that bad.

They actually changed numbers for revenue, namely since investors have been telling Satya to discard hardware. Now that their divisions no longer report any actual numbers and instead report revenue only, those same voices stopped complaining, since the numbers ruin the good impression the revenue and purchases give and distort investor perception.
Or, in speakeasy, because investors might compare them to Sony and they know they will not catch up soon...

I didn't know this either! If Playground does make a Twisted Metal game, then I will write them a letter and send them Sheep Dip solely for that!
