have fun waiting one year

...while playing the game as is on XboneS.

Ohh, I will. 🙄

Greatness of this game is now, while even more greatness awaits.

make sure to wear some galsses, the only true greatness i know is how greatly blurry is that dynamic 720p on the xbox

Blurry. That is how the microstutter looks when you pan the camera around on the PS4/Pro versions.

In an action game microstutter is a no-no. Surprised they would release the game this way, it is sub-standard.

PC I i7 3770K @4.5Ghz I 16GB 2400Mhz I GTX 980Ti FTW

Consoles I PS4 Pro I Xbox One S 2TB I Wii U I Xbox 360 S

I love how I can sort of guess what way a DF article will go just by who posts it on here. XD

I imagine the pro update will be out before I even get to start 15...

In what way is this article posted and what does it have to do with me?

Didn't mean to offend, I just saw it was a DF article not posted by the usual suspects and immediately thought "yikes, DF must have issues with the PS4 version."

Frame pacing issues still persist I see.

I may as well just get this on XBO S and enjoy a smoother experience, 4K upscale and HDR anyways.

I certainly take 3200x1800, higher details, and higher performance over 720p to 900p with no frame pacing issues. PS4 Pro version looks miles ahead to the Xbox One S version even on 1080p dueto having no resolution drop below 1080p

Did you even read the text? I guess not.

It says that if you want to avoid frame-pacing issues on the PS4 platform, you have to play the game on a Pro in light mode, which means 1080p30.

"Stutter in the form of incorrect frame-pacing is very rare during gameplay and is only really noticeable in the title's engine-driven cut-scenes. But switching to the higher resolution mode with its 1800p checkerboarding, improved texture filtering and shadows sees inconsistent frame delivery strike back with a vengeance. We've actually opted to play the game on lite mode instead - trading the resolution and improved image quality for a smoother experience."

People need to remember there's a Pro patch coming out this month... let's see the performance after its out.

The article is about the performance *now* - if there is a patch this month, expect a revisit from DF but for now, this is what people get.

XboneS has a good 4K upscaler. There was a day 1  patch to get rid of some of that fog. Also, it'll dynamically upscale on Scorpio. So, I don't see your argument. Bashing a game on graphics won't make the story any worse. That is the greatness I am speaking of. Go play Mobius Final Fantasy. Game has horrible fog, but it is very enjoyable.

TV also have upscalers.

TV upscalers are never as good as actualy system upscalers.
