Well why did the xbox outselk the PS4 Sept and Oct when the slim rose so high? The UC4 sku is selling well dont get me wrong but saying that its a fact without knowing gaps for the monthly is wrong.

According to Famitsu it has just beaten ps3's peak year.

I think this proves the doom mongers wrong especially on gaf. Ps4 ain't dead in Japan. In fact it is quite healthy. Software sales are also similar to ps3 launch aligned except they're spread out over more titles instead of a select few. Ps4 has a long healthy life ahead of it in Japan.

I can see software dropping a bit since digital is higher these days but PS4 is doing great in Japan.

Good point.  So including digital it would actually be above ps3 by a healthy margin.  I'd agree it will probably fall behind eventually like you say but at least it will have digital to either close the gap or partially close it.  

 

Good news for Asia though because outside Japan Asia is showing big Playstation software and hardware growth.

Well I checked... PS4 slim is 222$ and the XB1s bundles are 249$.

Not sure how big a impact that small price differnce has but it looks like the Xbox bundles have dropped abit compaired to the PS4.

 

Also look at FF15, for PS4 its at #5, and for the XB1 its at #64.

Thats probably a huge sales differnce.

I agree. On Amazon I think PS4 takes the month. But I do also think that PS4 sales are stronger online while  Xbox One sales are stronger in brick and mortar stores.

I would conclude that personally since Microsoft tends to work brick and mortar retailers pretty hard. They demand priority space at the major outlets, and Walmart and Gamestop tend to get exclusive bundles. Still making Xbox look "important" on store floors is a priority for them.

The poster claimed PS4 was leading in sales based on the position which CGzi agreed. Yes the PS4S UC4 bundle is the best selling bundle on Amazon but saying PS4 is leading is putting weight into the position because hes they are assuming that the PS4 gaps is large to the nearest XB1 bundle. That seems like putting wieght into the positions. The problem i had was that they were saying its a fact. Yes saying the UC4 PS4 is the best selling on Amazon is a FACT but saying PS4 is winning is putting weight in the position and passing it on as a fact was the problem i saw.

The Xbox One won November of 2014, and I think that the PS4 had some shortage in December of 2013.

The console that wins November will probably win December, But we don't know how well the Pro sold last month.

Last time (you aren't going to bring this back up, either - in fact, no one is - this debate has long ended) - it was not stated as a fact (you aren't a mind reader and cannot know say how I meant it - so this is clarification). I was merely pointing out the positions on Amazon, what they have set based on who's in what position. They have the PS4 winning the month.
