The numbers are pretty much what I expected and here's why for those who don't really follow the UK sales.
500GB Infinite warfare bundle has been at £219 since it launched on 4th december, At 8pm Thursday it dropped on Amazon to £189 for Black Friday weekend until it went out of stock
Sony launched 2 new 1TB 3 game bundles on Sunday 20th November for £249 such as these here and here
Whilst Xbox had the £179 firesles at the start of the month the best Xbox Bundles were the 500GB Fifa 17 and Minecraft at £237 on Amazon and £249 on other big retailers. This priced never droped until 8PM Thursday.
At 8PM Thursday for the Black Friday deals the PS4 dropped a 500GB Uncharted 4 + Fifa 17 bundle for £199
At 8PM Thursday Xbox One S cheapest bundle dropped a 500GB Fifa 17 + Forza Horizon 3 + Rise of Tomb Raider - £229 - Which was £30 more than the cheapest PS4 bundle even if it had 1 more game.
At 8PM Thursday the PS4 Pro what launched at £349 got a Black friday Bundle that Included 2 games Fallout 4 + Infamous Second Son for £349 - here
Somewhere around 4pm-6pm Friday (I know this as I was browsing deals and it was not price matched at 3.50pm and was price matched just after 6pm) MS priced matched the PS4's £199 bundle with a 500GB Minecraft + Forza Horizon 3 bundle for £199
All this along with the first actual week of PS4 Pro sales as last week was mainly pre-orders has made up a big win for Sony this week, I had been saying that the deals are very poor from MS this year and it's going to get massivly outsold by Sony and it did.
Sony have been very agressive this holiday so far with prices in the UK and Europe as a whole, I expected we would see £199 bundles for the Xbox One S and PS4 slim but I never expected £199 bundles + a £30 game included with the price.
Just thought I'd share my thoughts of the deals and how I saw Black Friday here in the UK.
