I really want this game to be good, but it seems to have a lot of criticism coming with it. Also, I really was not a fan of the combat that was in the demo. I'm predicting around an 83 but I really hope it will end up being higher.

If even a terrible game like FF XIII can get an 83% than a mediocre one should score at least 95%.

Either way, review scores mean nothing for franchises like this. Gaming critics give out way too high scores for games with obvious flaws.

89 is my prediction.

My Prediction between 90 - 95

The consensus so far, from people who got the game early and the media posting pre-reviews is that the gameplay is really fun, especially the battle system, but it's the way the story it told that some people have issues with. But most everywhere I read, people say the game is really good and the story of Noctis is intriguing and interesting.

I think a lot of the complaints so far come off as nitpicks, because of the nature of the game, its history and the unrealistic expectations that come with that as a result.

I reckon 88, the combat will probably rub some critics the wrong way.

I'd wager a 78 or so. It's not a great game, and it has the burden of high expectations due to the long development period.

I predict an excellent metascore and FF XV being remembered in a few years as the the worst and most overrated AAA game of 2016.

I hope for FF fans that it will actually be a good game.

I'm still sticking with 88.
